Warraphat Navasikkha Kindergarten “Cultivating Growth and Good Life Foundation”

At Warraphat, we believe the cornerstone of a fulfilling life begins in early childhood. Our curriculum is meticulously designed to cultivate educational outcomes across five essential pillars:

1. Holistic Development We ensure children acquire age-appropriate competencies across 7 key areas, adhering to UNICEF standards (2018):

  • Physical Well-Being & Motor Skills
  • Social, Emotional & Moral Development
  • Cognitive, Language & Creative Development

2. Sensory Integration Beyond the basic five senses, we prioritize the development of all 7 senses (based on A.J. Ayres’ theory) to ensure complete sensory integration:

  • Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell, Touch
  • Vestibular (Balance & Movement)
  • Proprioception (Body Awareness)

3. Executive Functions (EF) – The Brain’s Command Center

We focus on strengthening the frontal lobes of the brain to build “Executive Functions”—skills essential for success (based on W. Chaiyabang, 2019). We develop these through three skill sets:

  • Basic Skills: Working Memory, Inhibitory Control, and Cognitive Flexibility.
  • Self-Regulation: Focus Attention, Emotional Control, and Self-Monitoring.
  • Practical Skills: Initiating Action, Planning & Organizing, and Goal-Directed Persistence.

4. Building a Strong “Self” Psychological strength is key to happiness. We foster:

  • Self-Esteem: Cultivating pride and confidence to create a positive self-image.
  • Self-Control: Empowering children to manage impulses and guide their own behavior.
  • Self-Concept: Encouraging self-awareness through experiential learning, helping them understand their unique perspective in relation to others.

5. Trilingual Proficiency Preparing for a global future, our students develop the agility to communicate effectively in Thai, English, and Chinese. Beyond language skills, we instill an appreciation for cultural diversity, enabling them to interact confidently in various cultural contexts.
